A facelift or rhytidectomy is a surgical procedure performed to reduce the effects of ageing such as facial wrinkles, sagging facial and neck skin and other tell-tale signs of ageing to create a more contoured, youthful appearance.

During the procedure, the facial muscles are tightened and excess fat and skin are removed. Incisions are generally made above and across the hairline, behind the ear and along the lower scalp, making your scars invisible.
